Shri Raghav Gaudham: Cow Protection & Gaushala Care

Each and every cow at Shri Raghav Gaudham has a unique story and all stories require empathy.

A place which was originally created as an endeavor to look after few distressed cows has today turned into a sanctuary with more than a thousand cows residing here. The sick, neglected, and helpless cows never remain uncared for and are never forced to endure further pain by being discarded on the streets. Instead, these poor animals are treated with love, respect, and affection.

Shri Raghav Gaudham is not simply any other cowshelter; rather it is a place where compassion is combined with responsibility.

The cows that come to this place are well-fed, medically attended, and provided with a comfortable place to stay.

The hardworking people in this Gaushala make sure that no cow suffers from any lack of food or neglects.

But the vision does not end at cow care.

Shri Raghav Gaudham takes service beyond cow rearing and looks after the needy by feeding saints and conducting plantation drives to protect the environment.

This foundation was based on a very simple truth: serving those who do not have a voice in themselves awakens the best of what we have inside. And this truth continues to be the driving force for thousands of volunteers and well-wishers who work together in order to make an impact.

In a world where there are lots of abused animals around, Shri Raghav Gaudham is a symbol of hope. It shows us that there are people out there who still care about others and whose hearts are still full of kindness.

In joining this Gaushala, you will not only help cows, but also become a part of a bigger community that serves with compassion.

And the thing about seva is that it does not depend on how much you donate, but how kind you do it.
