Sant Seva: A Path of Compassion, Humility, and Divine Connection

In the rich spiritual tradition of India, Sant Seva (service to saints) holds a deeply revered place. It is not merely an act of charity—it is a sacred opportunity to express devotion, cultivate humility, and connect with higher consciousness. Serving saints, ascetics, and wandering devotees is considered a powerful way to serve humanity and seek divine blessings. The True Meaning of Seva Seva is often described as the great equalizer. It teaches us to let go of ego, pride, and personal preferences while embracing humility and surrender. Through selfless service, one learns to prioritize others’ needs above their own, discovering a deeper sense of purpose and inner peace. Sant Seva, in particular, embodies this spirit. Saints dedicate their lives to spirituality, detachment, and guiding others toward righteousness. Supporting them through food, shelter, and care is a way of honoring their path and contributing to the preservation of spiritual values in society. The Practice of Sant Se...

Shri Raghav Gaudham – Serving Cows, Saints, and Society

In Indian culture, Gau Seva (service to cows) has always been considered a noble and sacred act. The cow is regarded as a symbol of compassion, nourishment, and divine blessings. With the aim of protecting and serving abandoned, injured, and helpless cows, Shri Raghav Govardhan Gaushala Samiti, also known as Shri Raghav Gaudham, was established as a charitable initiative dedicated to cow welfare and social service. Donate a Blanket — Warmth & Compassion for Our Cows

As the cold season approaches, many of the cows at Shri Raghav Govardhan Gaushala Samiti — often rescued from starvation, abandonment, or poor health — risk suffering from the biting cold. At our Gaushala, we shelter hundreds (sometimes thousands) of such cows, ensuring they get food, medical care and refuge.  But beyond food and medicine, warmth is a basic need — especially in chilly winters, when older, injured or weak cows find it hard to survive the cold nights. That’s why we request your help: donate blankets to spread warmth, comfort and a sense of home to these gentle beings. 🌟 Why Blanket Donation Matters Health & Survival: Blankets protect cows from cold, reducing risk of illness, hypothermia or stress for those already weak or injured. Comfort & Dignity: Every cow deserves care and dignity — a blanket brings a sense of comfort and compassion, beyond just food and shelter. Your Compassion, Their Security: Your small act of kindness — just a blanket — goes a ...

Donate for Cows: Why Your Support Matters

In a world where many animals suffer in silence, cows hold a deeply sacred place in our culture and our spirit. At Shri Raghav Govardhan Gaushala Samiti, we believe that serving cows is not just an act of charity — it is a sacred duty, a seva (selfless service), and a way to preserve dharma. Who We Are Shri Raghav Govardhan Gaushala Samiti was founded to protect and care for destitute, injured, and elderly cows. What began in 2012 with just 21 troubled mother cows has blossomed into a sanctuary for over 1,000 cows today.  Our gaushala (cow shelter) operates around the clock, ensuring that every cow gets the care, medical attention, and love she deserves.  Beyond cows, we also run humanitarian efforts — feeding sadhus (saints), pilgrims, and passersby at our ashram on the Kamadgiri Parikrama route.   We even feed birds and monkeys daily, because for us, every living being deserves compassion.  Shriraghav Gaudham Why Donate to Cow Care?
